TU: Gunnison River needs spring cleaning
Trout Unlimited’s Western Water Project has called on the Bureau of Reclamation to provide healthy spring flows down the Black Canyon. Sportsmen closer to protecting Wyoming Range
TU staffers and volunteers celebrated last week as U.S. Senator John Barrasso’s Wyoming Range Legacy Act moved out of committee and into the full Senate. The bill would protect the Wyoming Range from irresponsible oil and gas development, protecting the hunting and fishing heritage in the Cowboy State.

Kokanee salmon one step closer to protection
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced that the petition filed by TU and a broad coalition to protect Lake Sammamish kokanee salmon under the Endangered Species Act carries sufficient information to merit a one-year review of the landlocked sockeye salmon's status. The native populations have plummeted to dangerously low levels in recent years. »Bellevue-Issaquah Chapter
