As described in our TU Chapter and Council Leadership Manual, chapters are where the rubber meets the road when it comes to our conservation, education and community engagement efforts. With more than 385 local chapters across the country, and over 3,000 local volunteers leading more than 1,000 conservation projects, 1,600 youth education programs, and an astounding 7,000+ community engagement activities each year, we are always overwhelmed with how much is achieved at the local, grassroots level!
This wealth of diversity is a tremendous strength for our organization. Local TU chapter leaders are constantly generating innovative ideas, successful solutions, and expanding the size and effectiveness of our grassroots base.
